A musical baton

16th May 2005

I’ve been passed a musical baton by Richard Rutter. If it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for me.

Total volume of music files on my computer:
Erm, lets see… 15.4 GB.

The last CD I bought:
I don’t buy CDs any more. I download, or grab the freebies we get sent. Last one I genuinely purchased was the latest Gus Gus album (Attention) when I was in Iceland last October. Cost about $25!

Song playing right now:
Car Thief by the Beastie Boys, from the classic Paul’s Boutique. It’s an office favourite.

Five songs I listen to a lot, or mean a lot to me:

  • Adem - These Are Your Friends
  • Sex Pistols - Holiday In The Sun
  • The Smiths - This Night has Opened My Eyes
  • Sigur Ros - Staralfur
  • Jeff Buckley - Dream Brother

Five people to whom I’m passing the baton:

Paul’s Boutique rocks! Wish I worked in an office where I could play the Beastie Boys.
